Registered Nurse#(RN) Position Summary The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications is required for all Patient Care area positions. The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process within the Oncology Clinic office setting. Acts as a patient advocate. Provides support, information and direct care. Utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures. Educates patients and families on significant self-care issues. This position works with multiple patient groups including: thoracic oncology, palliative care, GI/hepatic, and gynecologic oncology patients. Clinic hours/days vary and require flexibility in work schedule.# The applicant will be required to work one Saturday and two evenings per month with the other days being a typical 8-4pm schedule.## # # # # #Registered Nurse (RN)#Position Requirements: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or an approved reciprocal state.
