City/State Suffolk, VA Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Sentara Obici is currently hiring for an FLEXI - RN in it's IMCU-Stepdown Unit Sentara Obici Hospital Stepdown is hiring a Registered Nurse for their 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit. All rooms are Private and include brand new bedside monitors. We provide care for higher acuity patients in the following areas: Neuro, Cardiac, Respiratory, Renal and Surgical (to name a few). Typical patients on Stepdown include: * Respiratory Failure (such as in Congestive Heart Failure, COVID, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). These patients may include those on BIPAP's and chronic trached ventilator patients. * Stroke and seizure patients. * Chest Pain, MI (heart attack), Congestive Heart Failure * Renal Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients * Post op surgical patients (ostomy's, extensive wounds such are decubs, VAT's, ortho also) VIDEO: Get to know Obici Hospital!
