Registered Nurse Full Time Watseka, IL, US Requisition ID: 1787 Apply We are currently seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-centered full-time night shift RN for our Emergency Department. Job Summary Utilizes the nursing process to provide care to patients of all age groups (infancy through geriatrics), and with all types & degrees of severity of illness or injury. Practices in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and hospital & department policies, procedures & standards. Participates in performance improvement efforts. Maintains a clean, well organized department in a constant state of readiness with adequate supplies, equipment checks & housekeeping tasks. Maintains competence through required in-services & other continuing education. Requirements * Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing. * Must have current hospital experience (within 5 years), or be a new nursing graduate (within 2 years). * Effective written and oral communication. * Must be able to think clearly during emergencies & be able to function well in extremely stressful situations. * Valid state of IL RN license * CPR certification within 3 months of hire * ACLS certification within 1 year of hire * PALS certification within 1 year of hire * ECRN certification within 2 years of hire * Recommended TNS & CEN certifications after 3 years Benefits * Medical Insurance * Dental/Vision Insurance * Life Insurance * 401K * Paid Time Off Iroquois Memorial Hospital is A 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois, consisting of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community.
