<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Apr 6, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a Level 3 Trauma Center in the Racine, WI area, with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification required.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in a 60-bed acute care hospital at a Level 3 Trauma Center located outside of Racine, WI</li><li>Radiology department includes 2 diagnostic rooms, 1 fluoroscopy room; fluoroscopy is limited on night shift</li><li>Inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient population; mostly adults with some pediatric cases</li><li>1:1 patient ratio</li><li>Procedures include chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm, surgical cases, portables, and limited fluoroscopy</li><li>Equipment includes Canon and GE portables, OEC C-arms, and Dell workstations with Canon plates</li><li>PACS system is McKesson (preferred experience); EMR is Epic</li><li>12-hour night shifts, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Thursday (36 hours/week)</li><li>Weekend rotation required; holiday coverage required when holidays fall on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday</li><li>No mandatory on-call requirement; optional call shifts available</li><li>No floating requirement within the unit, but portables may require travel throughout the hospital including OR and ED</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, with most recent experience within the last year</li><li>Current BLS and ARRT certification required</li><li>Wisconsin state license required if applicable</li><li>Proficiency in chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm, surgical cases, portable imaging, and fluoroscopy</li><li>Experience with Epic EMR</li><li>McKesson PACS experience preferred</li><li>Ability to work with adult and pediatric inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations</li><li>COVID vaccination required</li><li>Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration</li><li>Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers will be considered with a strong clinical background</li><li>Orientation is 2–3 days based on candidate comfort level</li><li>Transport support available 7:00 AM–9:00 PM; Respiratory Therapy and Hospitalist coverage available 24/7</li><li>Any scrub color is acceptable</li><li>Free parking available on-site</li></ul>
