<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 12 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for an LTAC unit requiring ACLS, BLS, and a compact or LA RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>LTAC ICU unit setting</li><li>Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:5/6</li><li>Performs specialized procedures including TPN, wound care, drain management, foley catheter care, and narcotic administration</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Block scheduling considered</li><li>No call-in requirements</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license, Compact or Louisiana license in hand required upon consideration</li><li>ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA certifications only)</li><li>Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required</li><li>LTAC experience preferred but not required</li><li>Epic charting system experience required</li><li>Up-to-date NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of consideration)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Care for critically ill patients requiring ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication administration</li><li>Provides care across cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and neurological patient needs</li><li>Orientation held five days per week</li><li>Two manager or supervisor references required prior to starting the contract (not required for consideration)</li><li>Charge RN references are not acceptable</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible</li><li>Requested time off must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process to avoid offer rescission</li><li>Previous permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a full year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Staff may be required to participate in an emergency response team during declared emergency events, with related pay details communicated separately</li></ul>
