      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent experience and a current LA state license for a day shift position.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Primarily outpatient physical therapy setting with occasional inpatient coverage</li><li>Treats general orthopedic, neurologic, disability, and generalized weakness cases</li><li>Approximately 10 patient visits per day</li><li>Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM</li><li>Maroon, wine, or burgundy scrubs required</li><li>May be assigned to an Emergency Team during hurricane season with expectations to stay or provide relief coverage</li><li>Uses EMR appropriate for therapy documentation (system not specified)</li><li>Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of outpatient and occasional inpatient cases</li><li>Participation in hurricane emergency preparedness may be required</li><li>5-day orientation provided with required modules completed during orientation hours</li><li>Candidates who have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency must have a 1-year separation before returning as travelers</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted if all requirements are met</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Current LA state PT license required (license required if applicable)</li><li>BLS certification from AHA required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience</li><li>Experience with general orthopedic, neurologic, disability, and generalized weakness cases required</li><li>Candidates must reside at least 65 miles from the facility</li><li>Must have Compact or LA license in hand or apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing</li></ul>
