Job Details:
• Work 10-hour day shifts in Cath Lab/IR department 
• Handle caseload of 8-12 patients per shift 
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month 
• On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month 
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation 
• 2-hour call back guaranteed 
• Perform elective catheterizations (both diagnostic and interventions), RHC, STEMI procedures, IABP and pacemaker procedures 
• Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in IR (required) 
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations 
• Maintain sterile field and scrub responsibilities 
• Perform angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and temporary pacemaker procedures 
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS with IR experience 
• Minimum 3 years of experience required 
• Trauma Level I experience required 
• Scrubs provided by facility 
• Use Cerner and McKesson charting systems 
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine testing 
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby 
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation
