      <p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist for day shifts with cardiac cath lab experience and current ARRT(R) and BLS/ACLS certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a cardiac catheterization and special procedures lab setting</li><li>Patient population includes both cardiac and interventional radiology cases</li><li>Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 4 days per week</li><li>On-call requirement every third weekend and two weekdays per week</li><li>Floating required to all procedural areas as needed</li><li>EPIC charting system is used and prior experience is required</li><li>Requires ability to function as scrub and monitor tech during procedures</li><li>Administer contrast material and medications within scope of practice and monitor for adverse reactions</li><li>Anticipate set-up and assist during invasive and interventional procedures, including inventory and supply management</li><li>Explain procedures, provide patient comfort, support, and maintain confidentiality and patient safety</li><li>Assist physicians during procedures and perform as scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis</li><li>Assess patients for allergies to contrast and medication, document accurately and completely</li><li>Clean and maintain work area and equipment, and perform basic troubleshooting</li><li>Holiday and variable shift coverage may be required</li><li>First-time travelers are not accepted</li><li>Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible</li><li>RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract</li><li>Contingent workers cannot be on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break before returning</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Current ARRT(R) certification and IEMA Radiography License (IL) required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association</li><li>Associate's Degree in a related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology required</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology experience required</li><li>EPIC EMR experience required for consideration</li><li>Level 1 trauma experience required for consideration</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Physical ability to work around and maintain a sterile field and operate imaging and monitoring equipment</li></ul>
