Great staff, including manager. They work together and really help each other out from the top down. Staffing on days was always adequate.

Not a bad place to work. ICU isn't really a full ICU, its a mixed unit and most of the ICU patients go to their staff, or their favorite long term travelers. Usually good at helping eachother at night. Physicians arent the best and when the on call docs come by theyre not the most helpful.

      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (N) or CNMT certification for a travel position working in nuclear medicine and PET/CT.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position located in an imaging department specializing in nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures</li><li>Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM</li><li>Call is required as part of the position</li><li>Duties include planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET, and theranostic imaging for ambulatory and hospital patients</li><li>Maroon scrubs are required</li><li>Responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine and PET procedures, conducting quality assurance on imaging and equipment, and adhering to radiation safety standards</li><li>Must communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and safety, and maintain HIPAA compliance</li><li>Collaboration with radiology and nursing teams required for smooth workflow and patient care</li><li>Candidates must be able to take call when required and serve as a resource for new team members and students as needed</li><li>A 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers will be considered</li><li>Images and results must be properly transferred to PACS for physician review</li></ul>
