Atmosphere, people, staff, physicians are wonderful. The PACU/PreOp manager Patti is awful. Staff are terrified of her. She is vindictive, backstabbing, and unprofessional. She will/has yelled at staff until they cried, in the PACU setting. There was no night shift because all quit because of her, so day staff was working 9-730 then if there were cases coming out after 830 (travelers were 10-830) the staff had to come back in to recover, and only one nurse recovers cases at night. No two nurses . Travelers got yelled at for trying to help staff by staying over to recover the late cases to keep them from being called in because they were exhausted. Patti told us no. 

If you push back or just not cry she gets upset that you don’t react the way she wants you to. 

She rated me 10/10 for documentation, 10/10 for nursing care yet DNRd me for “doesn’t fit well into the culture at Blanchard Valley’s PACU. She can work in other departments just not PACU”.
