      <p>American Traveler seeks an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and hospital-based MRI experience for a rotating day schedule with call coverage.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital setting providing high acuity MRI scans including pacemakers and anesthesia cases</li><li>Operates GE MRI and Medtronic pacemaker machines</li><li>Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating days</li><li>Overnight call required after shift until 7am, with two 24-hour Sunday call rotations per month and holiday call coverage</li><li>Must be comfortable working independently at times</li><li>Uses EPIC EHR (preferred) and PACS system (preferred)</li><li>Responsible for daily MRI modality operations and adhering to established imaging protocols</li><li>Performs IV injections and administers magnetic contrast agents for designated procedures</li><li>Troubleshoots imaging equipment and reports malfunctions when necessary</li><li>Provides patient care and instructions before, during, and after imaging procedures</li><li>Contributes to staff training and assists in oversight of MRI students</li><li>Study guides provided for EKG testing and preparation</li><li>Professional scrubs or dress code required per facility standards</li><li>First-time travelers will be considered</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Certification and registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR) required or must obtain within one year of hire</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting required</li><li>BLS certification from the American Heart Association required prior to direct patient care</li><li>Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute preferred</li><li>Strong customer service and critical thinking skills required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Must pass EKG testing on first day (two attempts allowed)</li><li>Local candidates accepted with a 50-mile radius rule</li></ul>
