<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Aug 31, 2026</li><li>Length: 24 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications along with at least 1 year of ER experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in the Emergency Department of a community hospital setting</li><li>Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-06:00)</li><li>Six on, eight off rotation pattern (Thurs-Sat; week 1 Sun-Tues; week 2)</li><li>24-week contract length</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Floating required as needed within scope of practice</li><li>Hospital uses MediTech charting system</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license (state or compact) required in hand prior to start</li><li>Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS</li><li>AHA certifications strongly preferred (American Red Cross and ASHE Heartsaver not accepted)</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required</li><li>MediTech charting experience preferred but not required</li><li>Minimum of 2 supervisor references required, up to 3 total</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rate</li><li>Local candidates are not accepted for this position</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Travel pairs are accepted</li><li>Employees must be separated from the facility for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler</li><li>RTO must be submitted at time of application</li></ul>
