      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position requiring a NE or compact RN license and at least two years of PICU experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within an acute care hospital setting</li><li>Care for high-acuity pediatric patients with occasional support for adult patients in emergency situations</li><li>Shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with varied days including weekends</li><li>Contract duration is typically 10–13 weeks</li><li>Uses EMR systems other than Epic or Cerner</li><li>Provides care for critically ill pediatric patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, sepsis, and post-neurosurgical recovery</li><li>Collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care</li><li>Manages and titrates drips, sedation agents, and ventilatory support for pediatric patients</li><li>Supports resuscitation efforts for adult patients in emergency situations within the medical/surgical unit</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Consistent schedule with minimal fluctuations</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active NE or compact RN license</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU or similar high-acuity pediatric setting</li><li>Current BLS and PALS certifications required</li><li>ACLS certification is preferred but not required to start</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with ventilator management, sedation infusion, titratable drips, and management of arterial and central lines</li><li>Experience in handling complex pediatric neurological and cardiorespiratory cases</li></ul>
