      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with active CCC-SLP and BLS certification for an acute care hospital setting, with coverage required across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care units.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is based in an acute care hospital setting with responsibilities in inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care units</li><li>Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM</li><li>Floats between various units as needed to provide coverage</li><li>Therapists are required to wear brown or coral tops with khaki bottoms</li><li>Eligible candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment</li><li>Main responsibilities include providing speech therapy services to patients in acute, outpatient, and long-term care units</li><li>Modules must be completed prior to start and are included in orientation hours</li><li>Orientation is scheduled every other Thursday</li><li>Candidates with a permanent address between 75 and 100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis</li><li>Previous permanent employees must wait two years after last employment to return as travelers</li><li>Current employees of Vandalia Health System are not eligible for travel contracts at this facility</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Current CCC-SLP certification</li><li>Active BLS certificate required</li><li>State SLP license required if applicable</li><li>At least 1 year of speech language pathology experience in a healthcare setting</li><li>Vital Stim certification preferred</li><li>References from at least two managers or charge staff within the past two years</li></ul>
