      <p>American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience, Illinois OT license, and Epic EMR proficiency for a day shift hospital position.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Acute care setting covering patients of all ages</li><li>Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM</li><li>Department specializes in therapy for a diverse inpatient population</li><li>Level 1 Trauma experience required</li><li>Epic EMR charting required</li><li>Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan in a hospital environment</li><li>Develop and implement individualized plans of care, adjusting interventions as appropriate</li><li>Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic goals and progress</li><li>Supervise COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory agencies</li><li>Collaborate regularly with the interdisciplinary medical team on patient care and discharge planning</li><li>Ensure all clinical documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards</li><li>Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per 13 week contract</li><li>No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from facility</li><li>Returning travelers must take a 6-month break after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning</li></ul>
