The nurses in Home Health & Hospice were amazing clinicians and kind/helpful to me as a Traveler

The nursing manager is very reactive and petty. She refused to give me training on wound vacs which I hadn’t done for a few years saying, “we don’t have time for it”. She also called me off multiple shifts during my assignment and when she figured out I was guaranteed my hours (under my contract) she lied and said I requested the days off so I wouldn’t be paid. Luckily, I screen shot all of the communications where I explicitly said “this doesn’t make sense calling me off when we have folks to see and I am ready and available to work”. And her reply, “you’re off duty trow”. If I didn’t screen shot the conversations, she would have been successful in lying so as to short ne my pay. It’s little wonder they can’t keep staff working under this manager. If you don’t trust her, and you shouldn’t, it’s impossible to feel safe working there.
