      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Labor &amp; Delivery RN for a LDRP assignment requiring an active IA or compact RN license and night shift availability.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit in an acute care setting</li><li>Care for low-risk maternal patients, including labor, delivery, and postpartum cases</li><li>Patient ratios are generally 1:3 mom-baby couplets and 1:1 for laboring patients</li><li>Common diagnoses include Level 1 maternal care, occasional magnesium sulfate and gestational diabetes cases</li><li>Night shift position with 12-hour shifts</li><li>Schedule includes every 3rd weekend</li><li>Alaris IV pumps are used in the unit</li><li>EPIC is the charting system utilized (prior experience preferred)</li><li>Unit is closed, and floating is not required</li><li>Charge nurses are present each shift and take patient assignments</li><li>Duties include managing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including the administration of common drips such as insulin, magnesium sulfate, and pitocin</li><li>Flexible scheduling is preferred</li><li>Pass/Fail clinical skills exam is administered during orientation</li><li>Artificial nails are prohibited for all staff providing patient care</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs</li><li>A 50-mile distance from the facility is required for eligibility</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active IA or Compact (NLC) RN license required at time of consideration</li><li>Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required</li><li>Minimum of 2 years Labor &amp; Delivery experience preferred</li><li>Must demonstrate competency in labor, delivery, and postpartum care; NICU experience is a plus</li><li>Driver's license is required to verify residence outside the 50-mile radius</li><li>Candidates may not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year</li><li>Ability to pass an open-book clinical skills exam with a minimum 90% score during orientation</li><li>References from a supervisor within the last 12 months and either a peer or supervisor from the last 3 years are required</li></ul>

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position with night shifts and Epic experience required.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based acute Med/Surg Orthopedics unit</li><li>Unit includes 28 beds plus 22 overflow, with a 1:5 RN-to-patient ratio</li><li>Patient population includes orthopedic cases (total knees, hips, shoulder replacements), as well as medical diagnoses such as COPD, diabetes, wounds, IV infusions, dementia, oncology, fractures, sepsis, pneumonia, cholelithiasis, ambulatory dysfunction, appendicitis, acute respiratory distress, CHF, ETOH/drug abuse</li><li>No drip titration required; common drips include heparin, IV antibiotics, antithrombics, and narcotics</li><li>Unit has support from charge nurses and 1:10 nurse aids/patient care techs</li><li>Monitors located at main nurses' station; tele monitor techs are in ICU</li><li>Uses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience is preferred</li><li>12-hour night shifts with self-scheduling</li><li>Required to work every third weekend (Friday and Saturday for nights)</li><li>Travelers may float to PCU and behavioral health units</li><li>Navy blue scrubs required</li><li>Candidates must complete a pass/fail skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%</li><li>First week includes classroom orientation followed by one 12-hour shift on the unit</li><li>Emphasis on hourly rounding and bedside shift reporting</li><li>Travelers must be flexible, self-directed, and open to working with a diverse patient population, including those with mental health and addiction histories</li><li>Only candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility will be considered</li><li>Holiday coverage may be required according to assignment schedule</li><li>Must provide requested time off (RTO) upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission</li><li>Returning travelers must not have worked at any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility within the past year</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted</li><li>Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience required</li><li>BLS certification required and must be active at time of consideration</li><li>Previous experience with Epic EMR preferred</li><li>Must submit a copy of a valid driver’s license for radius verification</li><li>Candidates may not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI or Dignity Health facility within the past year</li><li>Adherence to fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas</li></ul>
