The hospital itself was beautiful for how small it was and the community around it. I don't think it would've been too bad if management at this hospital and the main campus worked better together. Staffing was so bad that overtime and extra days were a given. The staff bickered amongst themselves, and there was always some kind of drama going on that wasn't necessary. Some of the staff wanted to work outside their lanes and perform supervisor duties without authorization. I've never seen so much staff turnover before at any hospital I've been at. So many people let go or a case of no one wanting to work there, and if they did, they would leave once they saw how it was working there. Consistently low on supplies and utilizing old equipment that would break down often and lead to sending workload out to the main hospital which was 30 min a way. This led to poor turnaround times for the patients, thereby prolonging their stay. I'm hoping it's different there now since some of the management has changed and they got more staff.
