<h2><strong>Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse</strong></h2><p> </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Claremore Indian Hospital<br /><strong>Shift:</strong> Nights / Day<br /><strong>Experience:</strong> Preferred 5+ years (Minimum 3 years required)</p><h3> </h3><h3><strong>Job Summary:</strong></h3><p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality emergency healthcare services to patients of all ages. This role involves treating a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to critical trauma cases, in a fast-paced ER environment.</p><h3> </h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Assess patients’ clinical conditions by recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations; prioritize care and take immediate, appropriate action.</li><li>Initiate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available.</li><li>Operate and monitor emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.</li><li>Administer physician-prescribed treatments such as medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.</li><li>Accurately document patient observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures.</li><li>Coordinate care activities across multidisciplinary teams and maintain detailed patient records.</li><li>Assign tasks to team members based on patient care needs and staff competencies.</li><li>Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery and ensure proper documentation.</li><li>Maintain adequate supplies and equipment while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (5+ years preferred)</li><li>Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License</li><li>Required Certifications from AHA:<ul><li>BLS (Basic Life Support)</li><li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)</li><li>PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)</li><li>TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)</li><li>NIHSS &amp; Eight Strokes certificates</li></ul></li><li>Strong ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screening, etc.)</li></ul><h3><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li></ul>
