Community Hospital South

Working at this particular facility was not a good experience for me. The unit manager was petty and unprofessional, some times acting like a mean teenage girl. She had no problems embellishing the truth and even went as far as to ask me to lie in my documentation. It is a smaller hospital so you don’t have many of the same resources you do at bigger hospitals. However, the doctors on the floor are wonderful. They were all approachable and listened to their nurses. Very high turnover for support staff. There were a couple of good techs but they were pretty burnt out. I’ve never worked in such a toxic environment.
