<p>• Provide age-specific, direct patient care to pediatric and adult populations<br />
• Utilize the Nursing Process within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care<br />
• Follow Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care guidelines<br />
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of employees<br />
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision<br />
• Required certifications must be active prior to contract start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training<br />
• If certifications are not current, must have booked course at time of Clinical Orientation<br />
• Work in medical surgical stepdown unit caring for both pediatric and adult patients<br />
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practices</p>
