 American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator for a hospital position in Vermont with rotating shifts and on-call requirements.

 <ul><li>Work in the hospital Operating Room as a Circulating RN</li><li>Shift options include 4x10 hour days or 5x8 hour days with varied start times</li><li>Rotating day and evening shifts</li><li>On-call required once per week and every fifth weekend</li><li>Weekend call coverage every fifth weekend</li><li>Duties include circulating for surgical cases in the operating room</li><li>Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is mandatory</li><li>Supportive perioperative team environment</li></ul>

 <ul><li>Active VT or compact RN license required</li><li>BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>Previous Operating Room Circulator experience required</li></ul>

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work day and evening shifts in the operating room as a circulating nurse 
• Flexible scheduling options: 4 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 8:00 AM-6:30 PM) or 5 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM-6:30 PM) 
• On-call rotation requirements: one weeknight call per week and every fifth weekend 
• Provide circulating nurse support during surgical procedures 
• Maintain sterile environment and assist surgical team as needed 
• Monitor patient safety and coordinate with surgical staff throughout procedures 
• Document patient care and surgical activities according to facility protocols
