ER Nurse here.  This is a community hospital and not a trauma center so it is not as intense but you still get to see some stuff.  Great co-workers and management.  Unfortunately, they do not let you work overtime.

<p>• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with schedule options of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM<br />
• Call requirements include 4-5 call shifts per 6-week schedule period with 30-minute call back time<br />
• Weekday call hours are 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend call is 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM<br />
• Direct intra-operative circulating and scrub experience preferred<br />
• Experience must support orthopedic procedures (joints, spine, sports injury) and/or general surgery as priority<br />
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required<br />
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS<br />
• EPIC charting system experience required<br />
• Travel experience required<br />
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract<br />
• Weekend coverage as needed<br />
• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no time off between Christmas and New Years<br />
• May float to surgical center<br />
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility<br />
• 24 hours of orientation required<br />
• Pre-start modules completed (5-6 hours, billable)<br />
• Care for patients of all age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics<br />
