Flagstaff medical center can’t keep any full time employees, because their management, (especially the fairly new CT lead), doesn’t know how to treat people, or pay people. They’re willing to pay travelers an endless amount of $, but can’t pay full time employees enough to keep them, nor treat them better. The CT lead Jessica shows favoritism to the techs she likes most, and stabs everyone else in the back! Travelers included!

Micromanaging and constantly changing locations of supplies in the OR. Surgeons are great. Management sucks.

Area is cool, staff is okay, hospital culture is terrible. Constant floating

Facility is older and processes seem to be, too. Core staff very frustrated with continuous turnovers of management and travelers. Not too bad if you can deal with it

Your specialty & the unit you get a contract with are now irrelevant. You will not be part of any unit specifically but rather used as a float. You're managed by staffing services & will float to every unit you're qualified for in addition to the monitor room if needed, & almost never be in the same place the next day. Some days they will pull you from one unit to go to another mid shift. If you want to feel part of a unit, you will not get that here. It's a shame they don't see the value in treating their travelers better than a place filler.
