Small outpatient clinic, 16 years, 1 charge RN (1 patient), 3 other RN (4 pts a piece). AK baxter HD machines has a lot pf problems (dangerous at times). 2 shifts, done at 4pm. Good manager, caring , understanding, and respectful. Nothing to do in the area. Work/sleep. Expernsive for housing. Nice for a 1 time type of deal. Would not go back but a nice place to work with good people.

Hired for intensive care unit, 3x12 rotation days and nights. I was told there was a possibility of being floated, what an understatement. There was one permit staff member and the rest were travelers, all being used as a glorified float pool. I spent more time on Med-Surg then in the ICU.

The co-workers are so lovable here BUT the managers and supervisor are nasty people, and a lot of discrimination is usual here unfortunately. They have crazy ratios like entire floor for one nurse and have missed pay dates paying their staff late or not at all until the next week. Please brace yourself if you take an assignment here. They play nice but have no mercy, especially with new grads
