      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with a current NY license and strong Cath/Peripheral procedure skills.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in a hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment</li><li>Care for both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations</li><li>Interdisciplinary team includes physicians, clinical nurses, radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists</li><li>Shifts are either 4x10s or 5x8s, selected at the time of offer</li><li>Weekend work required every four weeks</li><li>On-call required 1-2 nights per week as needed</li><li>Staff available 24/7 for emergency procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Patient recovery to Phase I included in duties</li><li>Facility transitioning to Epic EMR; Epic experience is preferred</li><li>Key responsibilities include patient positioning, continuous hemodynamic assessment, assisting with sedation and interventional procedures, IV/IC infusion and bolus, and patient recovery</li><li>Must alert physician to changes in patient responses</li><li>No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted and must be noted at application</li><li>Required to wear personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons, no hoodies)</li><li>8-hour orientation is provided</li><li>COVID vaccination is encouraged but not required</li><li>Completion of Welle or CPI verbal de-escalation training is required for onboarding</li><li>A 14-panel drug screen must be successfully completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance</li><li>Unit values reliability and a strong patient orientation</li><li>Epic experience is beneficial as the facility is transitioning systems</li></ul>
