There’s a great sense of teamwork, everyone is willing to offer help at any time! The schedule is very flexible on nights, ratio never exceeds 3 couplets. They offer bonuses a lot of time and overtime if requested. There is a lot of trust and shared governance with coworkers and management.

In the mother/baby department the policies are extremely doctor centered & not nurse driven. The nurses are expected to do everything. There are no CNA’s or support staff. The nurses have to pick up the food trays, take the patients to the bathroom, all vital signs, get them drinks, food & supplies. Draw labs on the baby, weigh the baby, do the bath, etc. There’s no lactation educators at night. The management micromanages everything you do & the computer system is antiquated.
