<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Mar 23, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensed in Michigan for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of swing bed, acute, and outpatient PT experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Outpatient setting with swing bed and acute care coverage</li><li>Schedule options: Tuesday–Friday 7:30am–6:00pm, OR Monday &amp; Wednesday 8:00am–4:30pm with Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:30am–6:00pm</li><li>On-call required approximately one Saturday per month, with potential to decrease to one Saturday every other month</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Graduate of an accredited PTA institution required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in swing bed, acute, and outpatient PT settings required</li><li>Orthopedic experience preferred</li><li>Active Michigan PT license required at time of consideration; Michigan license required if applicable</li><li>Current BLS certification (AHA) required</li><li>Travel experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Full-time employees of the hiring health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date</li><li>No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment</li><li>Skills checklist is not required but preferred for non-nursing professions</li></ul>
