      <p>American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment in a post-acute care setting with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a post-acute care environment with a mix of 50% inpatient acute care and 50% outpatient therapy</li><li>Serve a diverse caseload including peds through geriatrics, with orthopedic, neuro, fall risk, and general weakness cases</li><li>Coverage may include inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings, with the expectation to cover at least two areas</li><li>Option to work with pediatric or adult outpatient population</li><li>Typical patient load is 6-10 patients per day, depending on area covered</li><li>Monday through Friday schedule, typically 8-hour shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holidays required</li><li>EPIC used for EMR, Cerner Community Works for inpatient and outpatient charting, and Kinnser for home health charting</li><li>Duties include assessment, treatment, and care planning for a broad range of patients from peds to geriatrics</li><li>OTs are expected to collaborate with COTAs for treatments as available</li><li>Black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual attire required</li><li>Structured orientation provided, including observed procedures and graduated caseload in the first week</li><li>Negative drug screen required for all candidates</li><li>COVID-19 vaccine is not required</li><li>Local candidates are accepted; local rate applies for those living within 50 miles</li></ul>

      <ul><li>Current active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable</li><li>Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience as an OT necessary</li><li>Current BLS certification required</li><li>Diverse clinical background and ability to work in inpatient, outpatient, and/or home care settings is required</li><li>Lymphedema certification preferred but not required</li><li>Applicants must be able to provide documentation of active state licensure at time of consideration</li></ul>
