Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care within a small critical access hospital. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across various areas, including ER, acute care, and long-term care (LTC), as there are no separate units in this facility.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Deliver nursing care in the ER setting and support acute and LTC areas when necessary.</li>
    <li>Administer medications and perform procedures for patients in LTC and acute care.</li>
    <li>Provide backup support in the acute and LTC areas during low patient volume in the ER.</li>
    <li>Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Shift Information</h2>
<ul>
    <li>6 shifts of 12 hours each, totaling 72 hours over a two-week period.</li>
    <li>Every third weekend off.</li>
    <li>Holiday coverage is required as needed.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Must possess an active Hawaii Nursing License by the start of the assignment.</li>
    <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).</li>
    <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.</li>
</ul>
