This hospital offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services. LOCATION:

Goldendale, population 3,500, is nestled among the rolling Simcoe Hills with gorgeous views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, kayaking, and windsurfing are world-class, with the Columbia River and untouched wilderness just minutes away. Locals enjoy the cultural offerings of Hood River and Portland and the dozens of wineries that dot the landscape throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Each of the four seasons is prominent, with beautiful wildflowers in the Spring and fiery orange shades in the Fall. Whether you’re raising children, raising animals, raising a garden, or just looking to get out of the big city, our providers come to Goldendale to enjoy a slower pace of life and take advantage of the rich benefits of country living.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a CRNA to work 26 weeks per year with full-time benefits, opposite the other CRNA. The surgical services team is extremely collegial and dedicated to high-quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience. The surgery department is open Mon-Thurs, has two surgical suites, and offers general surgery, podiatry, orthopedic surgery, and endoscopy- approximately 450 outpatient cases per year. No OB. The schedule, while flexible, is generally two weeks on and two weeks off and is coordinated with the CRNA partner. During work weeks, the CRNA is on call for after-hours emergencies. The average callback is 3-5 every two weeks. Candidates should have at least 5 years of CRNA experience, be comfortable working as a solo practitioner with no anesthesia backup and no critical care unit, and be committed to contributing positively to a collaborative, cohesive team.

The RN is an important member of the healthcare team and works collaboratively with the other members of the care team to provide optimal outcomes for our patients in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion. The RN demonstrates excellence in customer service during interactions with employees, managers/supervisors, providers, patients and patient family members, etc. The role of the RN includes, but is not limited to: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients’ status, plan of care and goal achievement. The RN will be oriented and float to other departments as necessary. The RN is aware of the potential exposure to internal and external hazardous materials, including but not limited to: blood and blood borne pathogens, infectious/communicable diseases and potential physical injury while caring for patients. Maintains a safe and clean environment for the care of the patient.

Requirements:
