Teamwork does not exist for travelers no matter where you are. If you work their special unit, you will deal with things you’re uncomfortable with including being bullied by a traveler and the staff on said unit. You will subject to micromanaging and belittling by the charge nurse. If staff does not like you, they’ll make the new manager get you sent home because only core staff matter even though they need travelers and the manager over the travelers does not care, you’re just another body to them. The DON does not care. They only care about staffing because state is coming, not realizing a traveler is having an inappropriate relationship with a resident. (SEEN THIS IN ACTION) TRAVELERS BEWARE. You will not be moved and if you are it’s because they need help and at this point will blow your phone up for overtime and the first time you’re beat, they catch an attitude….You will deal with so much that by the time you say “forget this”, you will regret ever working here. The pay will be low unless you go with ICMS as they pay the highest. The other big agency here will put you in a crappy car and even worst housing. Choose your battles wisely and work here at your own risk.
