<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 10 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab setting</li><li>1:1 patient ratio</li><li>5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday</li><li>On-call requirement from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM</li><li>Epic charting system used</li><li>Bi-weekly orientations</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab/EP Technologist</li><li>Current ACLS and BLS certifications required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Epic charting experience required</li><li>Community hospital experience preferred</li><li>Prior travel assignment experience required</li><li>Skills in venous access, vascular closure systems, EKG lead placement, and sterile field maintenance</li><li>Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI, IABP placement, and hemodynamic monitoring</li><li>Familiarity with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS equipment</li><li>Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures including cardiac mapping, ablation, and pacemaker insertion</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, scrubbing, and sterile technique maintenance during cardiac and EP procedures</li><li>Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, EP studies, and vascular procedures</li><li>Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and utilize rapid response/code teams as needed</li><li>Maintain and stock procedural equipment and supplies</li><li>Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted</li><li>First-time travelers will not be considered for this position</li><li>Accepts local candidates within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate</li><li>RTO must be limited to 5-7 days</li></ul>
