Everyone was burnt out, both young and experienced nurses. They run you ragged all while decreasing your rate or randomly cancelling your contract you signed with them a few weeks prior. I feel bad for the staff there because they were pretty great but all seemed to have their souls slowly sucked out of them, mine as well, while I was there for those long 9 months.

Qualifications/Skills:
-  Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
-  State Licensure Requirements: PA, compact 
-  Minimum year’s experience: 2
-  Required experience:  Med surg/ tele, med surg neuro, neuro population: stroke, seizure, dementia, brain tumor, acute changes in mental status, ambulatory dysfunction, Epic
-  Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required

Additional Qualifications/Skills:
• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
