My time in Palo Alto, CA at Lucile Packards was nothing short of amazing. Everyone in the facility was jolly and it was never a dull moment with the physicians, fellows, residents and children who were patients. The atmosphere will cheer you up even on your worst days. I’d definitely consider traveling back in the near future.

Really enjoyed my contract here. Travel nurse Friendly. Have 5 or 6 free resource nurses with no patient assignment that support those with assignments. Fabulous breaks that you can truly take bc have coverage. Highly recommend. Would return.

Great hospital and exceptional reputation years ago. Present Culture is aggressive, young nurses are mean, uncaring, lacks bedside manners ( also some doctors) and complains about every little thing. Managers or assistant managers who are young doesn’t know how to handle conflicts. Really sad but there are few nurses and doctors who are exceptions that I can remember and they are nice and caring which is expected since we work in healthcare. Old traditional virtues are dying and it’s heartbreaking to see it in this generation.
