<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Apr 27, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Mammoth Lakes, CA, with a minimum of 1 year of PT experience and active CA licensure required.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Day shift schedule in an outpatient clinic setting</li><li>Full-time hours at 40 hours per week</li><li>1:1 patient care model with one 45-minute appointment per hour</li><li>Active in both inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff</li><li>Weekend coverage includes scheduled Saturday shifts</li><li>Holiday and Sunday inpatient coverage shared among PTs (approximately one holiday per year and 6–8 Sunday shifts per year)</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active CA PT license required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred</li><li>Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program</li><li>Current BLS/BCLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required</li><li>Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments</li><li>DOB and SSN may be required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include patient evaluation, development and revision of individualized treatment plans, administration of appropriate PT modalities, and timely documentation of progress reports</li><li>Treatment plans are reassessed and revised every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient progress</li><li>Located in Mammoth Lakes, CA — a year-round outdoor recreation destination with access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and proximity to Yosemite National Park</li><li>Facility is a 17-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic with advanced technology and modern facilities</li><li>Facility-provided dorm-style housing may be available for a monthly cost, with options including furnished one-bedroom apartments and studio apartments, each with a private kitchen and bathroom, Wi-Fi, cable, and access to amenities such as a pool, weight room, and common areas</li></ul>
