      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient role requiring an active SC license and BLS (AHA) certification.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Outpatient position in a rural hospital-based physical therapy department</li><li>Work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM</li><li>Treatment performed according to provider orders and in collaboration with staff and family as needed</li><li>Involves patient evaluation, plan of care creation, and participation in staff meetings and educational sessions</li><li>Supervises physical therapist assistants and participates in treatment team meetings</li><li>Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly work areas and adhering to confidentiality policies</li><li>Medical documentation must meet APTA standards of care</li><li>Expected to attend departmental meetings and continuing education sessions</li><li>Commitment to professional conduct, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice is expected</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Work in a combined inpatient and outpatient speech therapy setting</li><li>Approximately 80% outpatient caseload, serving both pediatric and adult clients</li><li>Typical schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; a 4- or 5-day week (Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday) may be negotiated</li><li>Provide evaluations and therapy for expressive and receptive language disorders, cognitive disorders, reading disorders, and dysphagia</li><li>Independently maintain patient records, completing documentation and summaries in line with hospital policies</li><li>Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team</li><li>Participate in professional development, mentoring, supervision of provisionally licensed clinicians, and training of graduate students</li><li>Adhere to the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Code of Ethics, SC State LLR guidelines, and hospital policies</li><li>Ensure patient confidentiality and utilize appropriate health and safety protocols</li></ul>
