I loved my contract on the oncology floor at Mease Countryside. It's no secret that you're going to be RUNNING throughout your shift. I had a few nights where I went up to 8. However, the managers are awesome, block / flexible scheduling, I NEVER floated, and the team was awesome - I never felt like an outsider, everyone treated me like I had been there for years. I gave 4 stars because of the ratios and workload. It's true when they say "you also get paid in sunshine".

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of experience and circulating skills for night shift roles in a short-term acute care setting.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is based in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospital</li><li>Patient ratios are 1:1 during night shifts (3x12 hours, 18:00–6:30)</li><li>Critical on-call is required with a 30-minute return time</li><li>Travelers will be required to float between designated facilities as needed</li><li>Use of specialized equipment such as XI Robot, O-Arm, and HANA table</li><li>Cerner EMR is used and experience is required</li><li>Scrub color is royal blue</li><li>Daily responsibilities include circulating within the OR and supporting surgical procedures using advanced equipment</li><li>Must take critical on-call shifts and be able to return onsite within 30 minutes when required</li><li>No local candidates accepted for this position</li><li>No RTO allowed in contract, but time off requests may be discussed during interviews</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Block schedules are not accommodated</li></ul>
