Great place to learn, abundance of resources available. But short staffing, expect in the ICU to always have 2-3. And the ER just get murdered on a daily base. If you survive, you'll definitely become a stronger nurse.

RTs are completely disrespected there. I think it's just the culture of that place. (traveling nurses, residents respect you). The new manager is trying to make changes, but good luck with that. If you love when PAs and NPs handle your vents you'llike it there. Totally unsafe. Not worth the pay in my opinion.

Job Details:
• Work 36-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM 
• Every other weekend requirement 
• Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other future holidays during contract 
• No on-call requirements 
• Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 
• 2 years minimum experience required 
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH 
• Must be comfortable with gender affirmation surgery patient population 
• Previous travel assignment preferred but will consider first-time travelers with Cerner experience 
• Navy blue scrubs required (not provided by facility) 
• Cerner documentation experience preferred 
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels 
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions 
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract 
• Two supervisor references required 
• Must have compact license or Maryland license
