      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LDRP position requiring at least 2 years of L&amp;D, postpartum, and special care nursery experience along with a WY or compact RN license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital LDRP unit providing Labor and Delivery, postpartum, and newborn care</li><li>Care provided includes antepartum, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, immediate newborn resuscitation, postpartum, and special care nursery cases</li><li>Uses computerized charting, Pyxis medication system, central electronic fetal monitoring, and Alaris IV smart pumps</li><li>12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with self-scheduling</li><li>Required to work 2 weekends per month and 2 holidays if covering over holiday periods</li><li>No current on-call requirements</li><li>Floating may occasionally be required to the medical floor or ER to assist with basic tasks</li><li>Unit includes 3 LDR rooms, 5 postpartum rooms, 4 triage rooms, a recovery area, and an OR suite</li><li>Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines</li><li>Responsibilities include newborn resuscitation, initial stabilization after delivery, CPAP, PIV access, IV fluids and antibiotics, managing hyperbilirubinemia and hypoglycemia, and stabilizing infants for transfer</li><li>Two-day orientation covers EMR system, workflow, and supplies</li><li>Scrubs are provided; visible tattoos and body jewelry are not permitted except for stud earrings</li><li>Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility</li><li>Facility may call off up to 24 hours per 13-week contract</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active WY State or compact RN license</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor &amp; Delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery</li><li>Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN certifications required</li><li>Experience with computerized charting, central fetal monitoring, Pyxis, and Alaris IV smart pumps</li></ul>
