      <p>American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and an active CA license for an acute care assignment working across inpatient and outpatient settings.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an acute care hospital and offsite outpatient therapy center</li><li>Diverse caseload includes inpatient adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary conditions, as well as outpatient patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics</li><li>Hand therapy comprises a significant portion of OT services</li><li>Day shift position with 8-hour shifts</li><li>OTs may float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed</li><li>Average hospital census of 150 with a total of 189 beds</li><li>Use of Cerner B EMR system; Cerner EMR experience preferred</li><li>General department orientation with a skills checklist and assigned clinician</li><li>Responsibilities include providing therapy to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on hand therapy in OT</li><li>Interdisciplinary team includes therapy leaders, aides, PTs, STs, COTAs, and OTRs</li><li>Scrub dress code is burgundy polo or long sleeve shirt with black pants and shoes</li><li>No weekend or holiday work required for OTs on the 8-hour schedule</li><li>OTs are expected to float as needed to support patient care across departments</li><li>Facility holds JCAHO certification for Stroke and has an early mobility program</li><li>Returning candidates must not have worked at associated facilities (including CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity) within the past year</li><li>Candidates living within certain states must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates</li></ul>
