Opportunity:
RN - CVOR

Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or until cases are completed 
• Occasionally required to stay late to complete cases 
• Variable days off with no self-scheduling 
• Weekend requirement of 1-2 weekends per month 
• Weeknight call requirement typically 1-2 nights per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM 
• Must be flexible to work holidays when needed 
• 30-minute response time for call - must be in OR dressed and ready 
• Floating requirements within main OR or within skillset 
• Up to 1 week orientation with preceptor 
• Scrubs provided 
• Must have well-rounded cardio and vascular experience 
• Open heart and endovascular experience required 
• 1-2 years of experience highly preferred 
• Vascular hybrid experience preferred 
• Circulating required, scrubbing is a bonus 
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred 
• Experience with open heart, CABG, valve replacements, thoracic cases, vascular procedures, AAA, and IVC filters 
• Work with Cerner EMR system (Surginet) 
• Handle 8-14 varied vascular, thoracic, and heart cases per day 
• Must be flexible, team-oriented, and willing to pick up call as needed

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiovascular surgical program with 2 dedicated heart rooms, 1 hybrid suite, and 1-2 open surgical rooms for various procedures. The facility maintains a Level 2 trauma designation and operates in an acute care setting. The cardiovascular OR department is well-staffed with OR techs, charge nurses, CV coordinators, and service leaders providing excellent support and resources for surgical teams.
