On a whole, the staff nurses were wonderful and always willing to answer questions and lend a hand when needed. The nightshift team was great to work with. 

The issues I had fell with management. Management is always asking for feedback but is not truly receptive to it; there is a very "fake" vibe when it comes to them. It seems they're only real priority is trying to get you to extend but they don't address the issues you present to them. 

I was told prior to starting my contract that it was incredibly rare for a ratio above 1:6. The majority of my time there it was 1:8 and on occasion even 1:10. I was also told there was a possibility of floating to NICU and/or women's GYN, but only after receiving training on those units. This training never occurred and I was pulled to GYN often. When discussing this with management they brushed it off saying I handled it well so it was treated as a nonissue.
