Job Details:
• Provide care for critically ill patients in Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures 
• Assigned to STEMI call with 30-minute response time requirement 
• Must have Cath Lab experience with preoperative and postoperative skills 
• Experience required with patient monitoring and sedation 
• Must be proficient with advanced hemodynamic monitoring including IABP and IMPELLA 
• Ventilator management experience required 
• Valid RN licensure in Ohio required 
• ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association required prior to start 
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day 
• May need to stand for extended periods 
• Ability to lift 250-300 lbs with assistance and push/pull up to 500 lbs with assistance 
• Work with EPIC, XPER, and Change Health Care systems 
• Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products

 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Invasive Cardiology role focused on cardiac cath lab procedures, requiring active OH or compact RN licensure and advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting</li><li>Care for critically ill patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures</li><li>Assigned shifts may include 0630-1700, 0700-1700, or 0800-1800, with holidays and on-call shifts determined by unit rotation</li><li>On-call duty includes STEMI response with a required 30-minute callback and minimum of 4 hours per event</li><li>Proficiency with EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare EMR systems is required</li><li>Must manage preoperative and postoperative patient care, including ventilator management</li><li>Primary responsibilities include caring for cardiac patients during interventional and endovascular procedures</li><li>Must participate in unit’s on-call rotation and respond to STEMI cases within 30 minutes</li><li>Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning agents may occur</li><li>Holiday shift coverage is assigned according to unit rotation</li><li>No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified</li></ul>
