Great People but administration is lacking.
I worked here for a short period of time as a traveler. The people are great, and lab management does what they can with their limited staff. However, administration at this hospital is poor. All they care about is posing for pictures. Even when I was there, an email was sent from the CNO saying that they would not extend any travel contracts, would cancel current ones, and not have any more travelers. Apparently this was supposed to be an email just for permanent staff, but it got sent to everybody by mistake. Lots of travelers from all departments walked out after seeing this. It felt as if working there was very insecure due to this announcement, so people looked for work elsewhere. All together, the lab is a busy place with lots of manual tests and archaic tests and procedures, but it hasn’t been the worst I’ve seen. And again, the people and lab leadership are great.
