<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Aug 31, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift position performing CT and X-ray in an acute care hospital setting.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work setting includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department environments</li><li>Performs CT scans and X-rays across a broad range of anatomical areas including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies</li><li>Procedures include CT arthrography, vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism studies, and multiplanar/3D reconstructions</li><li>Uses GE CT scanners and PACS</li><li>Meditech EMR experience preferred</li><li>5x8-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 PM – 3:00 AM</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Orientation week is on day shift to cover both CT and X-ray departments</li><li>Rotational holiday coverage shared with existing staff</li><li>Floating within the hospital as needed per facility policy</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist</li><li>ARRT(R)(CT) certification required; license required if applicable</li><li>BLS required</li><li>Experience on GE CT scanners strongly preferred</li><li>Proficiency in image display and post-processing, 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), and multiplanar reconstruction</li><li>Skills in contrast media preparation and/or administration, venipuncture, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety</li><li>Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE</li><li>Two professional references from a supervisor or someone in a supervisory capacity, completed within the past 2 years</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li><li>Copy of driver's license required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers will be considered for this position</li><li>Local candidates are accepted</li><li>No mileage radius restriction applies</li><li>Candidates with background history may be considered</li><li>Pending licenses will be considered with documentation showing the license is in progress</li><li>Required pre-employment labs should be completed within 48–72 hours of contract signing</li><li>Previous travelers or staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months and remain in good standing to be eligible to return</li><li>Any requested time off (RTO) should be disclosed upfront</li></ul>
