Forsyth Medical Center was one of the best facilities I ever traveled at. The environment and people were amazing. I would definitely travel there again!

Ratios were great compared to the rest of the MedSurg floors, although there were heme patients that should have been 1:1 or 1:2 but were 1:3 or 1:4. 
MedSurg floors were like 1:6, with the CNAs 1:15 or more.

I had at multiple points 7 patients coming onto shift which they always tried to justify for. Charge nurse was never an available resource as she had patients of her own as well. Majority of staff ended up being travel nurses so no one knew appropriate policies and procedures. 
Only thing i liked about it was we could administer medications and hang up fluids on an iphone connected to EPIC EMR system and could secure message chat with anyone. Also cafeteria was open overnight as well with nice hot meals

Multiple ongoing facilities issues that will not be addressed. Management rarely present.

Offered a job in a cticu but only worked in that department less than 2 weeks of a 13 week assignment

The managers lie often I got terminated for “yelling in the nurses station” when I did not yell ever. They cut my boyfriend’s contract 3 weeks early and never told him ended up having to give him back pay for “wrongful termination” wouldn’t recommend.
