VERY BUSY TRAUMA CENTER! it is not unusual to see 3-4 back to back traumas daily and at least 3 a day throughout the different shifts. Novant promotes education  and wants their staff educated. Providers listen to the nurses. Not a shift ever that you are bored or slow. As with every hospital system right now boarders can pile up but not excessive and they do a great job of moving people around quickly. Managers are supportive of staff and hands on

Perhaps it has improved, when I was there the staff was easily 50% travelers. ICU culture is awful in main ICU. Management is petty. Availability of CNAs is non existent. ICU 1:2-3, IMCU 1:4-5, unsure of MS. I would not go back unless the pay was phenomenal.

left this contract a month early. there is no staff, no management, completely avoidable bad fetal outcomes. wouldn’t recommend this facility even a little bit.

Go there at your own risk. Horrible unorganized, unstructured environment. Leadership was horrible, until a few were fired. Staff is lazy and there just for a paycheck. Honestly, they need to start all over again and offer more money instead of continuing to pad the CEO, CFO, and administration higher ups pockets to get cheap labor out the staff.
