<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery position in Marshall, MI, requiring at least 2 years of birthing center experience and an active MI RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts</li><li>36 hours per week</li><li>Work setting is a hospital birthing center</li><li>Patient population includes laboring patients, delivery (including newborn care at delivery), and postpartum (mothers and babies)</li><li>Rotating holidays and weekends required</li><li>On-call responsibilities required on a rotating basis for holidays and weekends</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active Michigan (MI) RN license required</li><li>Current BLS certification (AHA) required</li><li>NRP certification preferred; candidates without active NRP will be considered but must be willing to obtain it</li><li>Minimum 2 years of current Birthing Center experience required</li><li>Experience with laboring patients, delivery, and postpartum care required</li><li>Prior travel nursing experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include providing professional nursing care using critical thinking and independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process</li><li>Directs and supervises the patient care team, which may include CNAs, LPNs, and other techs</li><li>Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams in the provision of patient care</li><li>Timely documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment is expected</li><li>RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for the contract</li></ul>
