It’s just a sh&@ show……no other way to say it.  At least 20 staff members have left since I’ve been there…..8 months.  Charge nurses have their favorites.  Some people get paid but never work…crazy.

<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Apr 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract in Columbus, OH.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital OR setting</li><li>2 endovascular suites and open procedure ORs</li><li>Average of 20 patients per day with a 2:1 RT:RN ratio</li><li>Common procedures include abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistulagrams, carotid angios, and EVARs</li><li>Equipment used includes fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, Philips Epiq 7G ultrasound, and Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX</li><li>Charting in Epic/CareConnect (PenVasc reporting software also in use)</li><li>5x8 day shifts, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM</li><li>Every other holiday required</li><li>Call expectation includes approximately 1/4 of total call rotation, including weekends</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of VIR experience required; candidates with 1+ year may be considered if they have Level I or Level II trauma experience</li><li>HS diploma or GED required; must be a graduate of an accredited radiography program</li><li>ARRT (or equivalent) certification required</li><li>Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required (pending status accepted; typically obtained within 24–48 hours)</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>Proficiency with fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, and ultrasound equipment</li><li>Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for minimally invasive image-guided vascular procedures</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Serves as assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in scrub, monitoring, and circulating roles</li><li>Must demonstrate knowledge of fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging equipment used in vascular procedures</li><li>Surgical scrubs provided</li><li>No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved for the duration of the contract</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li></ul>
