Leadership structure is currently problematic: both manager and assistant director positions are open; travel manager is also acting as CT supervisor.  Supervisor and travel manager both relatively new. Supervisor is great to work with! Strong organizational focus on inclusivity.

      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT certification, and Epic charting skills.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a cardiac cath lab at a Level I trauma, Magnet, teaching hospital</li><li>Primary responsibilities include fluoroscopy operation, with cross-training in EP procedures and support for structural heart procedures (TAVR, TMVR) in a hybrid OR setting</li><li>Adult patient population with a focus on cardiac interventions</li><li>4x10 hour shifts, variable days with weekday and weekend on-call rotations</li><li>On-call typically one night per week and one full weekend per month</li><li>Floating within the main hospital and affiliate campus (Southwest Waterfront) is required</li><li>Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required</li><li>Duties include intraprocedural technical functions, patient care activities, procedure monitoring, scrubbing, and supply/equipment management</li><li>Cath Lab technologists may support both cath and electrophysiology cases as needed</li><li>Scrubs are provided with no print patterns allowed</li><li>RTO of up to 1 week allowed; all RTO must be submitted up front</li><li>Return staff must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler</li><li>Locals are accepted at the same pay rate</li><li>Parking is available for a daily fee</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Work in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab setting</li><li>Adult patient population with a focus on EP ablations and device placements</li><li>Role involves both circulating and scrubbing for EP ablations and device implants</li><li>4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM</li><li>Weeknight and weekend call required, typically one night per week and one weekend per month</li><li>May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Primary responsibilities include operating fluoroscopy, monitoring and scrubbing procedures, and supporting unit projects and equipment management</li><li>Responsible for pulling supplies, setting up scrub tables, draping patients, scrubbing with MD for venous/arterial access, and supporting generator device changes</li><li>May be cross-trained to support additional EP or structural heart procedures</li><li>Modules completed pre-start and tracked via transcripts</li><li>Return staff must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler</li><li>Must list any requested time off with submission, no more than 2 weeks allowed</li><li>Accepts local candidates at the same rate</li><li>Scrub attire required as per hospital policy</li></ul>
